Key Developmental Stage Based Program
The Montessori approach is founded on the principle of adapting to the unique needs and interests of each child. While the attributes below provide a general outline of what your child may accomplish within the program, it is important to recognize that their learning, social, and developmental goals will be highly individualized and constantly evolving.
First Year
Children learn how to positively socialize with others, how to follow program routines, and begin working on basic Montessori materials.
Second Year
Year one laid the groundwork for enhanced focus for longer and more complex lessons in the second year. Children grow their self-discipline and passion for learning through the freedom of choice, transitioning towards abstract thought while utilizing concrete materials with inherent purposes and self-correcting features.
Third Year
Children use all of the skills they have developed throughout the program to assist younger children, create personal projects, and encourage a sense of leadership within their community.
